How much does it cost?

Individuals: The initial appointment is half price at £20. In this appointment I will ask you what has brought you for counselling at this time, what it is that you would like to work on, and for a bit of background information. At the end of this time we will decide whether we are happy to work together, and if so, schedule ongoing appointments.

Subsequent appointments cost £40 per session.

Concessions are available for students and those on low income and can be agreed in the first session.

Couples: £55 per session.

How long does a therapy session last?

Individuals: Each session lasts for 50 minutes.

Couples: Each session lasts for 60 minutes.

Sessions are usually held at the same time each week. If it is not possible for you to commit to the same day and time each week we can discuss options during your initial appointment. Therapy is most effective if you attend regularly so please bear that in mind when choosing an appointment time.

How long will I have to come to counselling for?

I can offer you an open-ended number of sessions, but many people find a relatively short number of sessions sufficient. We can discuss this in the first appointment and agree to an initial number of sessions. I will regularly check that you are still happy with the focus of our work and how we are working together.

Where are the sessions held?

Sessions are held in my purpose-built counselling room in a quiet location on Heatherbank, Eltham. It is fully heated and air-conditioned so it’s always comfortable. There is plenty of unrestricted on-street parking and good public transport links.  If you decide to come for an initial appointment I will send you further details of how to reach me. Please note: due to the road’s location on a hillside, I am unable to offer step-free access to the counselling room.

When are you available?

Currently I can offer appointments on Mondays – Thursdays during the day and early evenings.
